Financial Planning Administrator
Basic to £24,000 plus benefits
This well- established financial Wealth Management Practice are looking for a Financial Planning Administrator to join their team. The position requires administration support experience ideally gained in an IFA environment.
You will primarily work with one adviser but also work with the other advisers, paraplanners and administrators to provide professional, efficient and compliant administrative support. It is expected that you will be consistently accurate in your work, be able to work on your own initiative and maintain the high level of professionalism that our HNW clients expect.
Working within a small team will require you to be hands on in all areas so you will also be expected to answer telephone calls and deal with incoming and outgoing post amongst other things.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Providing pre-sale support, new business processing and ongoing client servicing ensuring initiative is applied at all times
Maintaining data integrity of the office IT system through accurate data entry and data maintenance
General administrative support e.g. file maintenance and compliance
Managing client review process/diary system including preparation of client valuations and review packs
Successful individuals will:
Have at least a basic understanding of retail investment and protection products
Be competent in using MS office; particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Have a confident telephone manner and be able to speak directly to potential and existing clients
Be able to demonstrate a client focussed approach
Plan and prioritise their own workload and be a good team worker
A Certificate in Financial Planning or a willingness to work towards this qualification is desirable. The company do offer assistance with exams/training if candidates have already started to study towards their Diploma or would like to start this.
